The ski trip to Norways’ Midpoint in Skjækra offer great nature experiences and scenic nature with stable snow conditions and fabulous views.

Skiing in the Skjækerfjellet mountains

The trail is a 18 km rountrip and well signposted.

The point is located in Steinkjer municipality, not far from the border to Blåfjella-Skjækerfjella national park.

The trail is widely used also in summer and is well marked and facilited. The ski trail is regularly driven up by scooter.. The terrain is not particularly demanding, but has evenly over a slight incline.

Directions to the start point:
Parking at the end of Lake Lustadvatnet innermost in Ogndal which is east in Stenikjer.
From the E6 follow road signs to Norges Midtpunkt and Blåfjella Skjækerfjella national park – about 40 km. Clearly signposted parking after passing Gaulstad.
