Accommodation in the barn at Munkeby Inn

At Munkeby Inn (Herberge) in Levanger, you are given a warm welcome by Håkon and Sissel. WELCOMING HOSTS
Håkon and Sissel are warm and hospitable people who really want you to have a good stay with them, regardless of purpose.
They have their feet firmly planted in history and together they have managed and taken care of the old buildings and built new accommodation in the barn, run a farm, hostel and café!

CAFE AND FARM SHOP
Food is available to order in our cafe located in Masstua from 1829. We have retained the old character and ambience of the building. We serve coffe, pastries and simple lunch dishes. Enjoy the food inside or outside, weather permitting. In our farm shop we sell local food and produce and handicrafts.

NEXT TO THE PILGRIM TRAIL ST. OLAVSLEDEN
The farm is located by the pilgrimage route, between the ruins of Munkeby monastery and the new Munkeby Mariakloster. People have left their mark on this fascinating cultural landscape for thousands of years, and traces from both bronze- and Viking ages are evident wherever you turn.
Steeped in the history that this area represents you find the farm Munkeby Søndre and Munkeby Inn, a unique haven that allows you to travel through the centuries of Norwegian history, at your own pace.

Welcome!.
