10:15 to 11:00 Munkeby Herberge/Hostel
You are welcomed by Håkon. Here you will taste the popular Munkeby cheese produced on Munkeby Maria Monastery just off the farm. Many believe this is Norway’s best cheese. What do you think? You will be served Munkebyøl/Munkeby beer with the cheese, specifically designed for the Munkeby Cheese by Inderøy Gårdsbryggery/Farm Brewery.

11:45 – 12:30 Gangstad Gårdsysteri/Farm Dairy
Gangstad Gårdsysteri is one of the first farm dairies in Norway to became a certified dairy. They produce award-winning cheeses from the farm’s fresh cow’s milk, including various white and blue stain cheeses, as well as the popular salad cheese. They also make dairy ice cream, youghurt ice cream and sorbets. Heaven for the tastebuds!

12.45 to 13.30 Gulburet and Therese Kvams Vevstue
Not far from Stromness is Gulburet and Therese Kvams weaving workshop. Gulburet is a bountiful farm shop with home-made breads and candies and products from other local food production. In the barn you will find art exhibitions and in the weaving house, you will see craftsmen at work. Here you can buy everything from fur rugs, runners, yarn and clothing.

13.45 to 15.15 Strømnes
A cozy grandmother house with modern facilities, 100 year old furniture and surrounded by a large garden. You will hear the story of Jacob Schärer who lived at Strømnes and he was the dairy manager. You will be served cheece fondue and dessert.

16.45 Arrival Trondheim
